Optical Laser Source OLS-01

Introduction

Model OLS-01 provides stable optical laser source for use in installing, maintaining and repairing fiber optical networks in telecom applications. Our optical laser source is rugged for use in the field. It operates on mains 230V AC, 50 Hz, as well as internal Ni Cd rechargeable battery. It may be substituted for terminal equipment in the

 

central office or head end to provide stable output for loss measurement for single mode applications, such as Telecom or CATV, the OLS-01 used in the modulation mode (2 KHz) applies a coded signal into the fiber. This signal can be detected by any optical fiber identifier.
